By accessing or using Builts at builts.tech (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

You are responsible for your use of the Service and for any content you create, upload, or share. You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to disrupt it, access it through unauthorized means, or use it in violation of any applicable law.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

5. Collaborators and Sharing

Builts lets you invite others to collaborate on your projects as editors or viewers. When you invite someone, they gain access to the project at the role you assign. You are responsible for who you invite and for revoking access when appropriate. Collaborators you add may leave comments, and editors may modify your project files.

6. Public Projects

Projects you publish via the public link (for example, a URL beginning with/s/) are accessible to anyone with the link, without authentication. You are responsible for ensuring content you publish publicly is appropriate for public distribution and does not infringe any third party's rights.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to upload, store, or distribute content that:

• Is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful to others;
• Contains malware, phishing pages, or other malicious code;
• Impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation;
• Sends unsolicited commercial messages or spam;
• Attempts to probe, scan, or overload the Service.

We reserve the right to remove content or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

8. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider, Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Builts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
